How do you store your crochet hooks
I'm really enjoying having the use of my father's digital camera, and I'm delighted to finally be able to answer the question that I've seen on other journals/blogs: "How do you store your crochet hooks?"
I use mostly wooden hooks for all of my crochet projects. I like the way they feel, and the round body on the hooks work well with the twisting & jutting technique that I use rather than the traditional knife or pencil hold.

Currently in fashion, crochet is always in style
This spring it looks like anything crocheted is the darling of the moment and that includes garments trimmed with crocheted lace, crocheted dresses and tops, and even shoes and bags adorned with or made of crochet. The look is romantic, but not in the least Victorian.

Free Tunisian Crochet Video Tutorials
Tunisian crochet, also called Afghan crochet, is worked in two passes. The Forward Pass (FP) is worked from right to left, picking up loops onto the hook. The loops are removed during the Return Row (RR), which is worked from left to right. Both passes together equal one complete row. For all of our Tunisian-style crochet patterns, we have chosen to separate the FP and RR for the sake of clarity, whereas other designers combine both. Also, in typical Tunisian crochet, the work is not turned, making the side you see the correct side.

In most of the motifs you are asked to chain a few stitches, join them with a slip stitch into a ring, then to chain a few stitches to bring the hook up to the height of the stitches that will be made into the ring. These chains are considered to be the very first stitch of the "round".
