This year, I learned three things from the Golden Globes.
1. WHITE IS HOT: Several stars showed up in winter white, including Ali Larter, Teri Hatcher, Kyra Sedgwick, Salma Hayek, Ellen Pompeo, Emily Blunt, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Annette Bening. Whew! Also popular: classic black (Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Hilary Swank, Courteney Cox), navy (America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Hudson) and bold color, from tangerine (Jada Pinkett-Smith) to emerald (Felicity Huffman, Renee Zellweger), amethyst (Sheryl Crow) to red (Rachel Weisz) to canary yellow (Reese Witherspoon).
