“We’re seen gold around for a long time. I definitely feel very strongly that it’s not a fad,” said Melissa Hoffmann, manager of the store Scoop. “It’s a trend that’s here to stay. Any age can wear it, whether it’s a thread in a gold shirt or hardware on a bag, it’s really a trend that’s here to stay.”
