According to the Encyclopedia the term Needlework can be applied to 2 classes of handcraft involving fabrics. The first is Embroidery, the second includes methods of forming a single strand of thread or threads into a loose or tight textured fabric, such as in knitting or crochet. For our purposes here , anyway for now, we are only going to concentrate on Embroidery
