Subject: Spiral Crochet
Comment: I do have enough crochet experience so I wouldn't feel flummoxed by doing the spiral rows with crochet thread only, but add the beads ... and I am all at sea. I think for the time being, I will leave this technique to the initiated, and wait until I can actually *watch* someone do it.

Subject: Problem
Comment: I am working on my second crochet project ~ a rug for my "furry son" (the cat) and his litter box. I'm doing a popcorn pattern in 3 colors to match another rug in my house that I really like, and to give me practice starting new yarns. For the most part it is going well, but I'm having a couple of problems. The first problem is it wants to twist into a spiral shape. The more rows I add the better it seams to get. Is this something that happens frequently with new projects, and will straiten out on it's own?
