Pitti: Dirk Bikkembergs Underwear Madness
Now we know that models have to be masters of the quick alteration but Belgium designer Dirk Bikkembergs has set a new record. He got 100 footballers to change their underwear - in public - in the space of a mere 10 seconds.
It made for the wackiest single image this week in Florence at Pitti, men's fashion biggest trade fair.
"We like to take a few risks, especially with the models," beamed Belgium-born Bikkembergs backstage after the "show" to launch his underwear collection.

Beachwear Out, Formal in for Summer 2008
Judging by the collections debuting over the weekend during men's fashion week, the summer 2008 look is short of beachwear and long on formal attire, with a dash of the militaristic.
Setting the cerebral tone Saturday evening was Versace, where nothing was quite what it seemed.
The first model down the runway wore a gray trench coat that unbuttons to transform into a jacket. Jackets become waistcoats. The jackets were paired with either the traditional Versace tight trouser or a roomier pleated trouser that - when put together with a muscle-showing mesh T-shirt, seemed to be the combination best adapted for the beach or pool side.

Emporio Armani:A New From The Master Tailor

But leave it to Giorgio Armani to actually dream up some serious suits with wildly inventive pants that might well radically transform the way men dress, and act.
